Dr. Bandeian began practicing plastic surgery in Bristol in 1981. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, and has been Board Certified in Plastic Surgery since 1982.
Bristol Plastic Surgery Center opened in 1984 and remains at its current location. In conjunction with Bristol Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Bandeian began the Tri-Cities Spider Vein Center in 1992.
Dr. Bandeian comes from a long family line of doctors and believes in the older values of medicine. His philosophy of medicine is similar to that of his father:
- Treat patients the way he would like to be treated by giving them the very best medical care possible even if it takes more time and effort.
- Get to know his patients.
- Be scrupulously honest about what can and cannot be done.
- Minimize the office room waiting time.
Dr. Bandeian is most always available for his patients and encourages them to call him or come by his office whenever they have any questions. If his patients need to see him, he is usually available day or night.
Dr. Bandeian does not believe in every new fad that comes along. He restricts his practice to tried and true methods, therefore, he does not do procedures that he thinks are overly expensive, unproven, or excessively risky.
Dr. Bandeian does most of his surgery at Bristol Plastic Surgery Center using local anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. For cosmetic procedures requiring general anesthesia he uses Kingsport Day Surgery Center and Indian Path Hospital for non-cosmetic surgeries.
