TCA FACE PEEL
TOTAL COST TCA FACE PEEL: $350.00 TO $1000
A TCA peel resurfaces the face to correct lines from sun damage and from the effects of aging. The results of a TCA face peel are not nearly as dramatic as the results from a Phenol face peel.. The stronger the TCA peel, the better the results. However, the recovery time is longer with the stronger TCA peels. The recovery time varies from 3 days to about 10 days. Patients who are interested in a TCA face peel may call Dr. Bandeian’s office for a consultation. The cost of the consultation is applied to the surgical fee. Dr. Bandeian does the TCA peels at Bristol Plastic Surgery Center with sedation. Dr. Bandeian gives his patients 3 prescriptions: one for antiseptic soap to use before surgery, one for prophylactic antibiotics and one for pain medication. He gives his patients a choice of different pain medication, because he wants his patients to be as comfortable as possible after the surgery.
The peel takes about one hour to do. After the procedure patients should have a responsible adult drive them home from the surgery center. By the day after the peel, most patients do not need to take any pain medication. Dr. Bandeian checks his patients on day after the peel and on several days after that. Patients will not look presentable until about 3 to 10 days after the peel.
